Agriculture is the art and science of cultivating the soil, growing crops and to raising livestock. It includes the preparation of plant and animal products for people to use.Agriculture provides commodities produced from natural resources which maintain life, including food, fiber, forest products, horticulture crops and their related services.
The department is established with an aim to produce quality agriculture graduates in order to counter the challenges of changing country’s as well as global demands and to ensure Food &Nutrition security.
The department offers 4(four) years course of B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture. The course–curricula cover all possible modern and demand driven areas of crop production.
